What We Like
The rower is very easy to put together and separates easily into 2 pieces to store away if you need it out of the way.
The rower is smooth and relatively quiet when in use. It gives a full body workout and you are unlikely to outgrow this machine.
The seat height is set at 20 inches which make it easy to get on and off compared to other similar rowers.
The PM5 unit has a USB port to allow uploads to a PC or MAC. ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart connectivity allows you to pair with compatible heart rate monitors for wireless heart rate monitoring.
The performance monitor also interfaces with iPads, Android devices and iPhones. There is an active online community, and online rowing software so that you can row with others via the wireless connectivity from the PM5.
There is also a generous warranty included with this machine and PM5.

What We Don’t Like
If anything, the seat can start to make your bottom a little numb, but this was after around an hour of rowing. Although there is an additional seat cover available if you are likely to use the machine for long durations.
The rower is bigger, heavier and pricer than other models, but if you have a good space to put the rower in it is worth paying the extra money.
The web portal is a little dated and in need of an upgrade, but everything is worth the money.
The rower is very well built, very sturdy and works very well. It gives a full body workout when being used and is a lot smoother than other rowers.
The rower is larger than other models, but disassembles quickly and easily when not being used.
